Pumpkin Patch Assist

Epiphany Lutheran troop 280 pumpking offload service projectA fun time was had by all unloading pumpkins for the annual Epiphany Lutheran Pumpkin Patch.

This is not only a great opportunity to serve, but also to help Epiphany Lutheran to give back to the community.


Our 50th Eagle Scout

Troop 280 is proud of all our scouts, who contribute to the strength and vibrancy of the troop. 

We were especially proud to celebrate the achievement of our latest 3 Eagle Scouts at a Court of Honor on August 6th.  Scott Boisvert, Seth Oberlin and Murray Leigh have been added to our Eagles Nest which now  boasts 51 Eagles.

Well done Scott, Seth and Murray!  

COOL FUN IN SUMMER

A Great time was had by all at our annual WBARF Extravaganza (for the un-initiated amongst us that would be Water Balloon And Root Beer Float).  Just the ticket to beat the summer heat as temperatures hover around 110 degrees (Farenheit of course)!  A good time was had by all and again we thank the Epiphany Lutheran Church for the continued use of their facilities.

Geronimo and Catilina

Both the Geronimo and Catilina Island trips have been completed. Everyone had a great time and it was a worthy experience. Although some scouts got home sick we're all home now. Pictures will be here soon and avalible to you. We hope we will have more scouts come next year and enjoy these great trips.

The troop wishes to congratulate Scott Boisevert on being selected as one of 40 national finalists for the Intel Science Talent Search.  His impressive resume continues to grow so all we can say is - Well done Scott!
 

Webelo's Bridging

We wish to welcome our newest scouts - Webelo's who bridged from Cub Scout Packs 382, 88 and 584.  We have gained 15 new scouts bringing our total troop strength to 65.
 
Welcome aboard, we know you will have as much fun as we have as our tradition continues proudly!

Annual Food Drive

Troop 280 assisted the Epiphany Lutheran congregation to collect food as part of Scouting for Food and their annual food drive.  The food that was collected will be sent to a mission in Mexico, whcih they help support.  Thanks to all those that helped.
